About these terms
These terms describe use of Lights Out, an independent community project operated from Minnesota, United States, by the operator identified in the Privacy Policy. Contact contact@theneeb.com. Read the Privacy Policy and Third-party Notices alongside these terms. Privacy processing does not rely on blanket acceptance of these terms.
Eligibility and third-party rules
You must be at least 13 and meet any higher age or parental-permission requirements applicable to you and the game/platform. Use a legitimately licensed copy of Bodycam and your own authorized Steam account. Lights Out is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Reissad Studio or Valve. These terms grant no rights to their software, content or trademarks and do not override their licenses or policies.
App license and installation
To the extent the operator owns the relevant rights, you may download and use Lights Out for personal community gameplay. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses. Installing a gamemode adds files to your game’s mod folder. The app checks for and installs updates, and ranked play may require current app and mode versions. Review How it works before installing. Compatibility, continued game support and freedom from platform restrictions or bans are not guaranteed.
Lights Out is not explicitly endorsed or supported by Bodycam’s developers. While we believe a ban or other disciplinary action is unlikely, the risk is not zero. By downloading and using Lights Out, you accept responsibility for that risk and any resulting account restrictions, bans or other disciplinary action. This does not limit the mandatory rights described under Availability and responsibility.
Fair play and community conduct
Do not cheat, falsify results, impersonate others, evade restrictions, harass players, submit malicious files or reports, interfere with service security, or share material you lack permission to use. Only send personal information about others when you have a lawful reason. Keep account access and tokens secure.
Your content
You retain whatever rights you hold in your messages, reports and other submissions. By submitting them, you grant the operator a non-exclusive permission to store, reproduce and display them only as needed to provide, secure and moderate the service and handle your request. This permission does not transfer ownership or authorize unrelated advertising use. Personal information remains subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
Rankings, moderation and appeals
Rankings are community gameplay measures, not property or a promise of rewards. Rules and ratings may change or be corrected. Access may be restricted for abuse, cheating, security issues or other breaches of these terms, with notice and an opportunity for review where appropriate and legally required. Send an appeal to contact@theneeb.com with your SteamID and the relevant match or decision; do not send credentials.
Availability and responsibility
The service is currently free. Features may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is supplied as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation or compatibility. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or personal injury. No blanket waiver of statutory rights is intended.
Stopping use and deleting data
You may stop using the service, sign out and uninstall the app and mods. Server records are separate from local installation. To request deletion or a copy of your information, contact contact@theneeb.com using the process in our Privacy Policy.
Disputes and changes
Please contact contact@theneeb.com first about a dispute. Applicable mandatory law and your rights to use competent courts and regulators remain in place. These terms impose no mandatory arbitration or class-action waiver. We may update the terms, identify the new date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Any assent required for new terms must be obtained through the relevant service flow.
